What is The Canaan Valley?

The Canaan Valley is the highest suspended wetlands east of the Rocky Mountains.  Featuring breathtaking views and endless mountain activities.  In addition to the two state parks and one wildlife refuge, the valley is home to two Alpine ski resorts (Timberline Mountain & Canaan Valley Ski Resort) one Nordic ski area (White Grass Touring Center) and an 18 hole golf course.
